I was especially proud of my daughter Katie, the goalie, for punting in the first goal from her position as goalie. Tears came to my eyes! I was standing there with my mouth open and could not believe it. Later on that evening Mary Kate and Katie informed me that they had been discussing and hoping that Katie could score that goal in the games before. But instead, what a great time to for a goalie to score other than the championship game.

Parents and Players,

I just wanted to thank all of you for a great weekend. I have been to Edinboro several times, but this weekend by far, was the most memorable trip for me. The girls played from their hearts. They showed me more moxie than I could have ever imagined.

During the games, I would look across the field. I saw you, the parents of these courageous girls, having fun watching and supporting them. I’m very proud of Kiski Kaos.

I couldn’t wait to get to my office to display my pictures and our championship plaque. I had a lot of traffic in my office from my co-workers asking how we did and admiring the display. I enjoyed the opportunity to brag about our great season and weekend.

I also want to thank you for the jacket. I will wear it proudly.
